Indian international Liston Colaco was chief guest as the Sao Jose De Areal centre received its new training kits at Bethany Convent High School.

A kit distribution event took place at the Sao Jose De Areal GFDC Centre, located at Bethany Convent High School, on 14 June 2025.

Indian international footballer Liston Colaco served as the chief guest, alongside Agnelo Fernandes, Vice President of the Parent-Teacher Association and President of Salcete Football Club. School Headmistress Sr. Sandra Fernandes led the proceedings.

Programme of the day

The ceremony began with guests receiving potted plants as tokens of welcome. Colaco distributed sporting kits to the trainees and delivered motivational remarks to the young footballers. Fernandes highlighted the importance of dedication and hard work, and acknowledged GFDC's ongoing commitment to youth development.

The event concluded with closing remarks expressing gratitude. Vaibhav Raut (Centre Head and PE Teacher) coordinated the ceremony, supported by coach Donald Rocha and ground staff member Julias Rocha. The young trainees responded enthusiastically to Colaco's participation and encouragement.
