Coach Prajot Dharma Shirodkar stands as a cornerstone of grassroots football development at GFDC Dabal. With more than 16 years of coaching experience — 13½ of them dedicated to the Goa Football Development Council — he has shaped countless young athletes into disciplined, confident individuals. Holding AFC C Pro Pass certification, he combines technical expertise with a philosophy centred on building strong footballing fundamentals while preserving the enjoyment of the sport.

Achievements and impact
Coach Prajot's track record demonstrates remarkable success across multiple competitive levels. His teams have won the Subroto Mukherjee and DSYA taluka championships 30 times, representing institutions including Pope John XXIII High School in Quepem and Immaculate Conception High School in Dabal. His coaching achievements extend to national platforms, including runners-up finishes at Khelo India Girls 2019 and the GFA U-15 Coca-Cola Cup in 2013.
Several of his students have achieved significant milestones: one trainee represented India and Goa at the U-14 boys' level, while twelve others represented Goa in the U-14 girls' category.
Philosophy and inspiration
Beyond football, Coach Prajot draws inspiration from legendary figures like Alvito D'Cunha and Diego Maradona. He maintains balance through agricultural pursuits while upholding his fundamental coaching mantra: enjoy the game.
