Policy

Content review policy

This policy describes the periodic review cycle the Goa Football Development Council (GFDC) follows so that content already published on this website remains accurate, current and accessible.

1. Why we review content

The Content Moderation & Approval Policy governs how content reaches the site for the first time. The Content Archival Policy handles content with a defined expiry. This policy covers everything in between: the standing pages whose information may drift out of date if not actively monitored.

2. Review cycle

Content review cycle — content type, how often it is reviewed, and the role responsible for the review.

3. What a review covers

  • Factual accuracy — names, designations, addresses, telephone numbers, statutory references
  • Links — every external link is checked for reachability and relevance
  • Accessibility — alt-text, heading order, colour contrast, keyboard operability
  • Currency — outdated phrasing, references to superseded schemes or notifications
  • Bilingual coverage — that Bhashini translation continues to render the page correctly

4. Recording reviews

Every page on this site displays a "Last reviewed" and "Last updated" date in the footer. The reviewer signs off in an internal register maintained by the Web Information Manager.

5. Visitor feedback as a review trigger

Reports received through the feedback form or by email are treated as a review trigger. We aim to acknowledge within three working days and to act within seven working days.
