7 PRE-ACADEMIES FOR BOYS & GIRLS

Started in 2014 with 2 High Performance Centres for boys showing promise in their footballing skills. GFDC now has 5 Pre-Academies for boys and has 2 Pre-Academies for girls.

Promising boys and girls selected from GFDC centres who have completed grass-root age of 12 , are given specialised training at Non-residential Pre-Academies to enable them further develop their football skills and participate in competitive tournaments. These Pre-Academies are located such that the trainees do not have to travel long distances for training.

Many boys and girls from these Pre-Academies have gone on to represent the state and been part of the camps for the national team.
